2015 EU reissue on 180g vinyl 2XLP -Returning with opus number 14, Paradise Lost are once again refining the chemical equation to their sonic alchemy with the kind of creative invincibility few can afford. It's a collection of songs that will surprise even the most seasoned of fans in its ambition: a monochrome miasma of morbidly uplifting anthems and heart-aching melancholia. 

Nick Holmes comments: "We wanted to approach the new album differently this time by embracing the band's VERY early days. We have written a very dark, yet melodic album, but this time many songs definitely have a death metal edge, which is something we haven't done for a long long time in Paradise Lost."

Paradise Lost's much anticipated new studio album The Plague Within was produced and mixed by producer/engineer/musician Jaimie Gomez Arellano from Orgone Studios (Ghost BC, Ulver, Cathedral, Angel Witch) in North London, England.
