The newest release in Neil Youngs Archives Series: Live at the Cellar Door collects 13 recordings made during the singers intimate sixshow solo run at The Cellar Door in american nations capitol between November 30th and December 2nd 1970, just after he released his classic third solo album After The Gold Rush. The most interesting of the many fantastic gems found on Live At The Cellar Door is an extremely rare version of Cinnamon Girl performed on the piano rather than guitar.

This highly anticipated release which features Neil performing on both acoustic guitar and piano includes stunning live versions of After The Gold Rush material and solo performances of Buffalo Springfield, classics Expecting To Fly, I Am A Child and Flying On The Ground Is Wrong from the bands 1966 selftitled debut.

In addition, Live At The Cellar Door features raw early performances of songs that wouldnt appear until later albums including the rarity Bad Fog Of Loneliness and Old Man Down By The River rounds out this incredible set
