1. The adapter only work with Renault 'Update List' type radios which have an 'AUX' option listed in the update menu.

2. Most Renaults have this type of radio, while just a few with a 'Tuner List' type head unit which this cable will not work with.

3. The adaptor can still be used if you  have a CD changer connected to the radio as it uses a different socket.

4. It works with any device with a 3.5mm headphone socket (eg iPod, iPhone, MP3 player, mobile phone, games console etc).
