Rare are meaningful glimpses into the artistic process of iconic musicians and their equally memorable works. But every Beatle fan and George Harrison devotee will not want to be without this gem. A primarily acoustic affair curated by Olivia Harrison and trusted friends and associates, Early Takes Volume 1 is the pivotal companion piece to Martin Scorsese's acclaimed 2011 documentary on Harrison titled Living in the Material World and features 10 previously unreleased recordings from the iconic guitarist/singer. 

The set consists of Harrison's rare demos and early takes on such classic material as Bob Dylan's "Mama You Been On My Mind" and many songs that would appear on his solo 1970 masterpiece All Things Must Pass, including "My Sweet Lord," the Dylan/Harrison composition, "I'd Have You Any Time," "Awaiting On You All," "Behind That Locked Door" and the album's title track.
