Uit de range SoundBlaster Live ! van de Creative geluidskaarten is dit de laatste, maar dan wel krachtigste en meest recente uit de Live series . Laat u zich niet van de wijs brengen door het bescheiden formaat van deze low profile geluidskaart, deze Sound Blaster Live ! 24-bit heeft de meeste raakvlakken met de Sound Blaster Audigy series dan met de SB Live ! modellen. Deze Sound Blaster Live ! 24-bit is dan ook uitgegeven in periode van de Creative Sound Blaster Audigy !

Deze Sound Blaster 24-bit Live ! uitvoering overstijgt alle andere SB Live 5.1 ! Modellen / SB Live !Value/ SB Live ! Platinum digital die er op de markt zijn uitgebracht. Op de gebieden qua prestaties en mogelijkheden is deze 24-bit veel later ontwikkeld en heeft een grotere technische voorsprong dan de andere Sound Blaster Live ! Uitvoeringen. Dit model gebruikt de geluidsprocessor van de audigy 2 / Audigy LS / Value geluidskaarten en behoort eigenlijk niet thuis in de Live ! series . De kaart ziet er fysiek anders uit uit dan de meeste Sound Blaster Live! Modellen en heeft veel meer kenmerken van de Audigy SE. In de Sound Blaster familie zit dit model tussen de Audigy 2 en Audigy 4 qua tijdspad en met bepaalde eigenschappen en is dan direct gerelateerd aan deze serie. Daarom komt de Sound blaster Live ! 24-bit SB0410 in de tests er zeer goed uit en heeft een aantal intressante opties. De DAC (digitale naar analoge converter ) van deze kaart is qua prestaties gelijk aan de Audigy Value /LS/SE en Audigy 2 op bepaalde punten. Daarnaast heeft de geluidskaart ondersteuning voor zowel 5.1, 6.1 als 7.1 surround speaker opstellingen,met playback in 24-bit kwaliteit / 96khz resolutie met een signal noise ratio/ digitale output van 100db bij audio weergave. Ook heeft deze kaart ondersteuning van EAX (Environment Audio Extensions) 3.0 in games waarbij vele afzonderlijke geluiden gelijktijdig kunnen worden weergeven. Kortom deze kaart heeft alles in huis om zeer goed multimedia geluid weer te geven voor iedere taak die men met de Personal Computer wil uitvoeren.

There Great !

Sure beats the pants off of my onboard sound card. With the advance HD sound DVD's sound more clearer and louder than ever before. My onboard sound card made games sound like an old 78 RMP record but not with sound card.. The HD sound make's games come to life.

Very good sound

Pros: I keep reading that this is just okay sound no way this is very good rich sound. The people writting this stuff must have cheap speakers and arn't adjusting the sound quality because mine sounds fantastic.

Great card, great price

Pros: This card is simply what it says on the box. It's ideal for upgrading your sound system if you're still using onboard audio integrated to your motherboard.. I just installed this guy in and installation was fast, thorough, and the sound quality is 10 times better even on these stock 2.1 speakers.

Pros: OK, I bought this card BEFORE I found out about Newegg, so I paid too much...but the point is: this card works great.. I have Logitech X-530 140 watt 6-speaker 5.1 surround system hooked up to this card. It absolutely kicks for movies and games...and handles TeamSpeak just fine. I can't see why you would spend more on a different card at 24 bit, unless you were using a different interface for studio recording. This card is a good all-around buy for hooking up the surround sound to your games/movies.
