As a Business Consultant the individual must demonstrate a high level of experience in the field of Logistics & Transport Management both in terms of practical field experience and software delivery particular within the Warehouse Management area.
The Business Consultant will be working as an integral part of a project based team with an allocated Project Manager who will be responsible for allocating project resources, including the Business Consultant
The individual is regarded as a professional person, with good client-facing communication skills and project experience.
This person will need to gain a good technical understanding of Kewill Logistics Transport Management System application, should require minimal supervision to complete their assigned responsibilities and commands respect among their peers. This person is a team player who works as well with senior management as with staff and clients.
When needed, the business consultant must be able to act as a pre-sales business consultant able to support or be part of pre-sales demo's/workshops.
Responsibilities:
- Articulate Client Requirements as a component of the Functional Requirements Specification.
- Provide professional advice to the client with respect to the delivery of an effective TMS Solution.
- Articulate how the WMS solution can meet the business objectives of the client
- Interpret the limitations/restrictions of the software and recommend process changes with the client or software enhancements.
- Fully understand the key deliverables in the project under their direct control and maintain close co-operation with the Kewill Project Manager in terms of milestones, priorities, timescales, risks & issues.
- Design & Deliver user training sessions (if required).
- Responsible for quality of delivery and customer satisfaction of assigned projects.
- To maintain an awareness of and work within project constraints and contractual obligations
- Maintain an awareness of Kewill products to be able to discuss them with customers and to lead follow-up product demonstrations and presentations if needed while on-site
- Identify own knowledge, skill-set and personal development needs
Functie-eisen
- Experience in the delivery of software solutions within the Logistics & Supply Chain Industry is essential (minimum 5 years experience).
- Educated to degree level.
- Ability to act as the Business Consultant at the initial project inception,
- Read/Write/Speaking skills in minimum of 2 languages (English and other)
- Good client-facing presentation and communication skills
- Good technical skills or technical awareness
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, and also as part of a large team
- Good awareness of project financial management
- Able to travel within Europe & other global regions to meet the requirements of the projects being managed.
