2002 US repressed on Audiophile Quality High Definition Virgin Vinyl -Mastered from the absolute vintage analog tapes. Looked upon as the primary milestones for creating the Memphis Soul sound. All of the songs on this record are instrumentals, many of which are cover songs. But it’s this bare bones approach to their instrumental R&B that serves to create such a wonderful vibe. GREEN ONIONS might sound a bit dated and less than earth shattering by today's standards, but it remains a fine example of how less can often be so much more.
